Health & Safety
At Berkowitz Gan Israel, health and safety have always been our top priority. Plus now – we’ve boosted our vigilance many times over to meet and exceed recommended health guidelines. Our camp is fully licensed under the Nassau County Department of Health, and also an accredited camp of the American Camping Association. Our staff members are trained in CPR and First Aid. All aquatic activities are under careful supervision of certified lifeguards. Our facility is thoroughly disinfected and sanitized daily, and is equipped with an advanced filtration system to minimize the spread of germs. We believe that safety is #1!

Program & Activities
Our creative and packed program is designed to give your child the best early camp experience possible. Your child’s schedule will include swimming with optional swim instruction, water activities, non-competitive sports and games, nature and science, and creative experiences such as art, baking, music, yoga, dance, karate, and dramatic play. Our program is imbued with Jewish arts and culture, bringing to the life the beauty and values of our Jewish tradition.

Camp Grounds & Facility
Berkowitz Gan Israel is located on Chabad of Port Washington’s stunning 2.5 acre property overlooking Manhasset Bay. Our impressive campus features air-conditioned space for indoor activities including a full size gymnasium, a full sensory Israel themed indoor playground, a state of the art outdoor playground and a spacious playing field. You have to see it to believe it.
